Dear Stafford Academy Families,
I am reaching out to you in light of the new guidelines provided by the State of Oregon. As you may have heard the Governor has closed all K-12 schools through April 28. As new information becomes available I will continue to communicate with you. Here are a few things that we want you to know…
First, The State of Oregon sees childcare centers as necessity during this season so we will continue to operate as long as there is a need. With this in mind, we will be open if we have 5 or more children who need childcare on any particular day. We will need your help to make this work so your communication back to us will be essential. Please respond to this email and tell us what your needs are for the rest of this week and next week by the end of the day. Thank you!
Additionally, we will immediately open up to siblings of our students as well as additional families in the community who need childcare so they can work and provided critical services to our region. This means that we would plan to extend our services to families you know who are in need of childcare to sustain their jobs. If you know someone who’s childcare has closed and they have a need please connect with them and send them my email address. Elizabeth@staffordacademy.org
We are also working on stay at home packets for all students and all age levels. These packets will be available in the near future. When they are complete we will send an email about a game plan to get these home education tools into your hands.
All of us are greatly affected by what is happening and I am praying this Bible verse for you all: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” -Isaiah 41:10
